Backcountry fishing Report for naples

Snook, redfish, tarpon, sharks, speckled sea trout and nice snapper describe the fishing this past week here in the Naples area. Overall a great week with a couple slow periods during the higher tides in the afternoons. We’re in a SW flow with winds 10-20 mph the next few days so bait may be tough to get but I do love to throw artificials so that’s what we may do the next few days.

The SW wind also hinders our beach snook and tarpon fishing so we’ll be exploring the backcountry the next few days. Also moving into the quarter moon phase tides will be slow which may make the fishing tough but… won’t last long.
